Pembroke Double Event (February & March) - March 15 at Markham Park
Event
Scenario
Winner
Steel

1) Three, Two, One, Go!
Fighters will engage their opponents continuously for the entire round. Marshals will count the number of successful lethal hits. The first round will be 3 minutes long. Killing blows only.
Thrusting weapons and half-swording will be permitted. Strikes must be made with sufficient force and intent. Marshal's note: Multiple
taps or thrusts lacking lethal force will not be counted. The second round will be 2 minutes long. The third round will be only
one minute long! If we need more rounds, additional 1 minute rounds will be added to complete the contest.

2) Body Slam
Single sword only, the TORSO is the target, not the head! Killing blows only. First fighter to get 3 kills wins. Marshals note; excessive targeting of the head will not be tolerated

Feb: Sir Alaric

March: Sir Alaric
Knight's Ren

1) Rope and Dagger
Exactly like a gypsy rope fight. Actually, more like a true gypsy rope fight because we will only be using daggers. Deadly fun! Daggers will be provided if you don't have one.

2) Cloak and Rapier
Exactly like it sounds, rapier with a cloak as secondary. All blows count. The only conditions in this scenario are that you may not grab your opponent's cloak, nor yank it out of their hand. You cannot discard the cloak as inconvenient. If you are armed you must hold the cloak behind you. Cloaks will be provided if you don't have one. Style points awarded at closing court.

Feb: Dame Pandora

March: Sir Frederick

Sargent's Ren
Same as Knight's Ren!
Feb: Master Augustus
March: Razgriz
Shinai

1) Body Slam
Single shanai only, the TORSO is the target, not the head! Killing blows only. First fighter to get 3 kills wins. Marshals note; excessive targeting of the head will not be tolerated.

2) Call out
All combatants will face each other in a ring. You may call out a challenge to any one in the circle. The combatant who kills his opponent will then step back to the perimeter, but may not challenge again until someone else has challenged someone, though others may challenge that winner, immediately. This is NOT a melee and
grouping up is not permitted. Consider this as if it were a formal duel.
